Overview

About the partnership

Universities, health authorities, NGOs and other organisations in Somalia’s health sector hold a wealth of data and knowledge from their own work, yet few have the systems and support to turn it into research. The Research Strengthening Partnership (RSP) is MIH’s long-term partnership with these organisations.

Working alongside their staff, we help them build the skills, structures and confidence to produce their own meaningful evidence and use it in their decisions, so research becomes a normal part of how they work. By working together, Somali organisations strengthen not only their own research, but the standing of Somali research as a whole, at home and internationally.
